The #Sweet16KChallenge gives the Final 16 Drivers at the Scotty Ernst Straigthline Showdown Outlaw Class an opportunity to enter their three-digit decimal portion of their Elapsed Time into a computer after each pass to see if it matches the Pre-Determined Three Digit Code and win $16,000! No matter if you win or lose in the Round of 16, Round of 8, Quarter Finals, Semi Finals or Final Round, each driver gets to enter in their Elapsed Time for a chance to Win $16,000!

With over 250 Entries expected and only 16 Drivers able to qualify for the chance to win $16,000, the 2022 Straight Line Showdown Drag Race is shaping up to be one of the biggest events in R/C Racing for all of 2022.  

The Showdown will consist of a Double Elimination format meaning drivers will have to lose twice to be eliminated from the event which is spread over three days of racing from July 29th to July 31st in Union Grove, WI hosted at The Great Lakes Dragway.

The entire event will be broadcast on LIVERC.com, to include almost every race, every round and driver interviews. This enhancement will give the viewers an unprecedented involvement in the event.

The Straightline Showdown RC Drag Race July 28-31 at Great Lakes Dragaway in Union Grove, Wisconsin. Great organization, attention to detail, spectator seating, live as it happens scoring and timing including brackets viewable right on your phone and attendance by some of the biggest companies in our industry will make this an event you do not want to miss.

Contest Rules

1. The Contestants (16) for this event must race their way into the Round of 16. Under no circumstances shall any party other than Whitz Racing Products know the pre-determined three-digit code prior to race, until after all races are finished.
2. Only the Round of 16 Contestants may participate during the #Sweet16KChallenge period.
3. Current or former employees, family members, agents, successors or assignees of Whitz Racing, LLC shall be INELIGIBLE to participate.
4. In order to qualify for the #Sweet16KChallenge, the entrant must make the Round of 16 in the Bracket Race. Those 16 entrants, after each race, can enter the three-digits after the decimal place from their posted Elapsed Time. If their three-digits after the decimal place from their posted Elapsed Time matches the pre-determined three digits, they will win $16,000
5. There may be no more than 16 total entrants, which are eligible for the #Sweet16KChallenge under any circumstance.
6. The #Sweet16KChallenge prize awards is as follows: The maximum prize limit is $16,000.00.
7. There can be only 1 winner, if prize is won the contest is over at that point in time.
